Physiotherapy Oakville

Recover Stronger. Move Smarter. Perform Better.

At Elevate, physiotherapy is more than treating pain — it’s about rebuilding strength, restoring movement, and helping you perform at your highest level. Our physiotherapists combine hands-on treatment with evidence-based exercise and performance principles to get you back to the activities you love, stronger and more resilient than before.

Whether you're recovering from an injury, navigating post-surgical rehab, or dealing with persistent pain, our physiotherapy approach is designed to create meaningful, lasting change.

We don’t just treat symptoms, we look at how your entire body moves, loads, and adapts. Then we build a plan that fits your goals, your sport, and your lifestyle.

1. Assess

Everything starts with a detailed assessment. We look at:

  • Movement quality

  • Strength imbalances

  • Joint mobility

  • Mechanics related to your sport or activity

  • What’s causing the pain — and what’s keeping it there

2. Treat

Once we know the root cause, we build a hands-on treatment plan that may include:

  • Joint mobilization or manipulation

  • Soft tissue release

  • Neuromuscular retraining

  • Mobility restoration

  • Early-stage strength work

The goal is simple: reduce pain, restore movement, and get your body functioning properly.

A woman is standing and a man is stepping onto a small platform in a gym. The woman appears to be coaching or observing, with her hands clasped. The gym has a large banner with an eagle on the wall and the word 'RADIX' in bold orange letters. There are various gym equipment, boxes, and weights visible.

3. Train

This is where real progress happens. We guide you through strength and conditioning progressions that rebuild capacity, confidence, and performance. Depending on your goals, training may include:

  • Strength development

  • Tendon loading programs

  • Return-to-run progressions

  • Power & plyometric work

  • Sport-specific mechanics

Treatment doesn’t end on the table — it continues in movement.

The man is wearing a smartwatch, and the gym equipment includes a treadmill with a screen displaying some text, and a treadmill labeled 'Anti-Gravity Treadmill.' Questions About Physiotherapy

  • “I thought it would get better on it’s own”.

We hear this phrase all the time from people who did not think much of their pain initially but started to worry when it started to get worse.

The sooner you get to the root of the issue the sooner you can begin recovery and prevent any compensations from developing.

No injury is too small or insignificant.

  • You do not need a referral to see one of our physiotherapists.

Some private insurance companies do require a doctor referral for physiotherapy or massage therapy.

We recommend reaching out to your provider to determine what their policies are.

  • Please wear loose and comfortable clothing. Something you’d wear to the gym.

Ideally the therapist would need to see and have access to the area of concern.

  • Your initial assessment is 60 minutes. This gives us enough time to get to the root of your problem and leaves us time at the end for some hands on care.

Follow up appointments depend on your custom plan and can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes.

  • Following your initial assessment your therapist will present you with a plan of care which will include the number of sessions required and the duration of each session.

For mild to moderate injuries or movement dysfunctions most people see improvements in about 4-6 sessions.

Chronic conditions may need about 10-12 sessions to see improvements.

Finally, for more severe conditions, such as, following surgeries or more chronic conditions may need around 20 sessions.

Of course, every case is different and the above numbers are rough estimates based on the cases we’ve seen at our clinic.

  • We will welcome you, offer you a coffee or water and then you’ll meet your therapist who will guide you through a detailed assessment to determine the exact cause of your issue.

From there, your therapist will help put together a custom plan for you. And finally, you’ll get some hands on treatment to start helping you reach your goals!

  • Yes, we do!

We are all athletes ourselves so we know how bad you want to get back to your sport.

We will ensure that you get back safely and perform at your highest level!
